This build a road is very colorful and very easy to assemble; however, the cars that came with the set only run for a very short time before the batteries need replaced. By a short time I mean if your child plays with it for more than 25 minutes the cars go so slow they cannot make it around the track.

Our 2 year old loves this. He loves to move the cars around the track and can do so on his own. Only cons are 1) he's already all but destroyed one of the cars; 2) he keeps pulling the tires off which prevents the cars from moving properly; 3) each piece of track can easily be pulled apart so you spend a lot of time constantly putting back together. Great price though for starter set and he can play well on his own. Recommend!

We all construct the tracks and add on other items to "improve" the road. Even the 21/2 is learning to put tracks together.
It is a toy that the kids love.
I wish the trestle supports were a little more stable.

I spent a fair amount of time rating a product as I thought it might be helpful for others. Then I was graded because I didn't give a "nickname" or a review title. I am a college graduate not a kindergardner!
