    Comments about Custom Kitchen:

Our 18 month old son *LOVES* his kitchen so much that he's struggling on learning to share it. He uses real (but small) pots and pans that he's pulled out from the cupboard and it is holding up quite well. Everything seems well thought out except for the hooks for the pot holders. What's going to fit on those things? The assembly instructions are a little confusing since a set of screws are actually silver (not gold), and another set is silver but described as gold. Also, it says to use the enclosed puny allen wrench for some big wood screws. Assembly itself was not horrible, but you definitely need to read through most of the instructions. Set aside 3.5 hours, a 12V cordless drill, and a roll of masking tape to help you hold things together. That worked for me and I couldn't wait for my son to wake up and see the thing. He is sitll ecstatic. It ranks up there with his Brio train table.[...] I'm impressed with both the product[...]!

    Comments about Custom Kitchen:

This is a great little kitchen. It is very sturdy once it is totally put together. We did have to redrill most of the main screw holes as they were not long enough for those screws with no points on the end. DH is in engineering and it still took us about 3 hours to put together...and you definitely need two people. All the parts were there and it is as cute as it can be. Our grandson was baking cookies in it on Christmas morning. He LOVES it.

    Comments about Custom Kitchen:

My 3 year old son desperately wanted a kitchen for Christmas but I could only find ugly plastic ones in stores. This one is very nice and the wood finish is unobtrusive in our living room/kitchen area. The construction is VERY solid and after a year shows absolutely no sign of wear.

My only complaint is that our first shipment contained a kitchen whose doors (stove and 'fridge') had their pin holes drilled slightly off, so the doors wouldn't close. The bottom or sides would grind on the frame work and therefore hang open. The unit has a bizillion pieces, and removing the doors when our replacements arrived (the BtoB customer service was excellent) necessitated taking apart half the kitchen since everything is interlocked. My father does construction professionally, and we left this task to him. I'm not certain we could have managed ourselves.

Would I recommmend this purchase? most definitely. Just don't leave assembly until late Christmas Eve... (we had to answer the question: but WHY does Santa need to take it back to his workshop to fix??)

    Comments about Custom Kitchen:

I love the design of this kitchem it's not ugly like most and is suitable for a boy- not pastel. I received it as a gift for my son over a month ago and it had wrong/missing pieces and 1 broken piece. I contacted the manufacturer and got the broken piece replaced, however after 3 times of them sending me pieces they have yet to send the correct pieces for the poorly set up lazy susan. It looks silly and my son can't play with the lazy susan part and I am nervous that I'll have to take it all apart once I do get the correct pieces, if I ever do. The set up was a nightmare, it took 3 hours for my husband who has an engineering degree and I to do, and we're both pretty handy. All in all, I like the product and would rate it higher however since 1+ month later and my kitchen is still incomplete I'd say be wary of this manufacturer. Something doesn't seem right if they keep saying they'll send the pieces and it's never the right piece. I'll update this review if they ever send the right pieces.

      Comments about Custom Kitchen:

Purchased this play kitchen for my family child care program. Liked the unique design, attractive details, and quality of this product. It has a large stove-sink surface, so 1-3 kids can easily play together. Accessible for preschoolers as well as for young toddlers.

The assembling wasn't difficult, however, it took much more than 30 minutes stated in description :)

I wish the microwave's been little bit wider for play dishes to put in (most of the dishes won't fit)

Overall, great product for hours of imaginative play.

          Comments about Custom Kitchen:

My son and daughter received this play kitchen as a present from my in-laws. They are crazy about it. They pretend to cook, they store the food away, in the refrigerator, freezer, and the turning pantry inside. They bake cakes, microwave food, and can cook at the same time (there are 4 burners). I have seen other play kitchens that do not compare to this one, this is by far the classiest out there.
