We got the tan version when my twins were 2 (now 7). It has lasted well. Looks brand new. All four of my kids (7,7,5,2) play with it at times. I love the fact it can be strapped closed, which is imperative when you don't want a little one getting wet or messy. The straps also keep the lid from blowing away here in tornado alley.
My only con would be the umbrella material is pretty much disintegrated after 5 years outdoors. :) Another plus would be a drain hole on the sand side as we accidentally leave it open at times & the rain fills it up.

Had the tan/red one since my guy was two. He is now five and still uses it as a car track both on top and inside of table. He also uses the inside for just water or water/sand combo play.
This table has been really versatile for us. The tan version has taken the full sun w/o much fading.

I bought this for my 2 year old newphew. He just loves it. He loves being outside & this gives him something to keep him amused for long periods of time and be outside too. My daughter also plays with it when we visit and it is big enough for the both of them. The umbrella provides nice shade as well.

This table is a big hit when I host playdates at my house - It entertains my sons 7 yr old friends as well as my little guys 4 yr old friends. They love to mix the sand and water together into one big mud pile - but if you leave the table cover open the sand will dry overnight.

While I love this table and thought it would be a great toy my 4 yr old son has no interest in it. I would still recommend it but perhaps for a younger child. I think my son prefers a deeper sandbox. I'll keep it through the year and see if things improve. Then off to craigslist.

Great toy--easy to set up, son (2) loves playing with it. We put just water in it so we wouldn't have to worry about making paste with sand and water mixing. Our only issue was we didn't dump the water out after one use and it did get moldy after sitting for a week. Easy to clean up though, so no problem. Love the toy, worth every penny!

2, 4 and 5 yr old love playing with this outside. It gets a little messy b/c of the water, so we found more fun outside rather than inside, but they LOVE playing with it!
