Comments about Bill Ding Stacking Clowns: I bought my 4-year old two sets of the Bill Ding clowns for his birthday after watching him play with them at mother's house. He and I will sit on the floor and build many different "stacks" and laugh maniacally. The clowns are great for teaching balance and "touch", and require no instructions. Pros

Comments about Bill Ding Stacking Clowns: I bought this a few years ago, and every child that comes to my house heads right to the toy cupboard for it. This year we had an age range of 16months to 86 playing with it and having a great time. I suggest it as a great gift for any age! Pros

Comments about Bill Ding Stacking Clowns: This is a toy we had as children in the 50's. Our set was my father's (from the 30's). We still have the originals (almost 80 years of use), but they are well worn and I am happy to add to them. Our 5 children loved Bill Ding and their children are just getting to the age to play (about 2--I know it says small parts, jadajadajada, but....). The in-laws are really enjoying learning all the possible positions and are having plenty of fun, too. It is well worth the price. I recommend getting 2 sets at a time. Thank you for carrying this wonderful toy from our past. Pros

Comments about Bill Ding Stacking Clowns: I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw from your catalog that my beloved Bill Ding is still being made! I'm 58 and this was one of my favorite toys when I was a little girl in the 50's. Although they're still too young (just 3 and 10 months), I bought two and put them away for my granddaughters. While the concept is simple & universal (building blocks), Bill Ding also teaches about balance and creative play (they have faces! they can be circus performers!) I don't know where Back to Basics finds these gems from simpler times, but I'm so glad they do! Pros

Comments about Bill Ding Stacking Clowns: The product looks like it would hold up to a lot of tough playing from children. I cannot rate this product YET, as it is a Christmas gift for our grandson. But if it is like the ones our kids played with, it was a toy I didn't feel would break right away, needed careful handling, or took batteries. Displaying reviews 1-6 |
