This was a gift for our great grandson's 3rd birthday. The horse is sturdy, soft to touch, well constructed and pretty easy to put together. So far he hasn't had much use as our grandson just pats him and listens to him whinny and gallop. He says he's a "really big horse" and is working up to finding the joy of getting on and riding. That will be any day now!

Our children absolutely love this horse !!! Not a day goes by that he isn't ridden - and ridden quite hard ![...] The horse was easy to put together even with the help of our young children ! I was concerned about the springs being too tight, but my boys have had no trouble bouncing and rocking this horse !Great toy, and we would definitely recommend it.

We gave this to our 18 month old grand daughter for Christmas - though I might have thought better of it had I seen the choking hazard warning - nevertheless, she loves this horse! She hugs and kisses the thing and waves "good night" when she leaves it a night to go to sleep. She loves to sit on it while watching Dora and gets so excited when she squeezes the ear and it makes the it's neighing sound. She is a maniac bouncing on it. All in all, we are so thrilled we are buying another for my three year old nephew!

Bought this for our grandson at age 2. He is now four and this horse shows absolutely no wear and tear from two years of constant use. Now his new little brother can use the horse. It is large which may be a downside if you have limited space but it is the most durable spring horse we've ever seen. What a wonderful gift. I'm buying another for the granddaughters!

Was a little difficult to get together but great design once it was complete. Very sturdy. In fact, it will take a lot of bouncing to loosen the springs a bit. The plush horse is nice but the front legs are bunched up and don't look very realistic. The sound effects do add to the experience so that is a plus. Worth getting.
