I bought this for my husband for Christmas. He loves it and shows it to all his friends. Our children also love it. My three year old can operate it, although he can't quite make the jumps yet. It's a lot of fun for everyone. HOWEVER, it is NOISY!!! It should be sold with earplugs. I couln't believe how loud the wide up action is. Perhaps, if it was used outside, it would be more tolerable.

This is a great return of the classic 70's toy,it is well made and very robust,and honestly does all the things that is said on the instruction sheet.
I have read other reports on the new Evel Knievel sets,and i totaly 1000 perecent disagree with all the bad reports it gets,this is as good as the original,if not better,i would recommend this to anyone wanting to buy this for their child,or for a rememberence toy back in childhood?

I havent bought this but i want it really bad. However my friend has it and we always had a blast plaing with it when we were about 9 or 10. What I love about it the most is how Evel is almost unbreakalbe. We launched him down the stairs and he was completly in one peice. It has plenty of extra accessories to use for incredible stunts. Bottom line, I love this toy.

Well folks if you had the original, you know that it was ALWAYS DIFFICULT TO USE AND HARD TO CRANK. Poor engineering and cheap parts resulted in many premature or aborted launches and worst of all SCUFFED KNUCKLES while cranking. SO DON'T COMPLAIN!

Not as robust as the original, but who would want to thrash one of those? Great fun and a blast from the past. Crank it up and wind back the years.....it's 1973 again.

I thought it was going to be a really neat toy for my son and I to play with together. Instead I have placed it deep in the toy box because it is so difficult to setup because of the poorly/cheap made parts. The motorcycle and action figure are of decent quality but the stand to wind up the motorcycle is difficult to use and hard to wind.

I bought this as a gift for my husband, mostly as a joke. But once we opened it and saw how great it was, we could not resist playing with it. We had a blast and were really impressed with the quality and detail. This is a great toy for both collectors and kids of all ages. You won't be disappointed!
