We use the product in the park on weekends and especially when we camp at campgrounds. The teepees come with built in tie-downs so there is no mistaking that they should not be assembled on dirt or cement. Using a tarp like a regular tent set is suggested and works best when setting up for more than one day use. There is a level of difficulty with assembly but we solved this problem by pre-assembling our teepees and leaving them that way. Now they open and close like umbrellas, saving lots of time and effort for usage. They are very warm when camping in cold weather and can be personalized for comfort as you would a regular tent. Add a carpet when ground is cold, like snowy weather. Line the tent interior with old blankets or cover with cowhides or sheep skins for ultimate warmth in cold windy weather. We weatherproofed ours for rain and the acrylic paints stay on. This teepee can be truly convenient, versatile and easy once you prepare it with creativity and some effort.

This really is a beautiful tepee - but it really needs to be on grass not brick or concrete. Don't set it up on dirt either...what a mess! Also, the neighborhood cats LOVED to pee on it! We had it set up for a few days and each day we found it covered w/ cat urine!! We actually had to throw it away it was so damaged by the urine! We only had it for about a month. Don't leave it up overnight unless you KNOW that there will be no cats coming into the yard. PLUS, it's difficult to take down after each use!!
