    Good basic "sit and spin" but it doesn't hold my 3 year old very well who is only 30 pounds, but my one year old son thinks it's the best thing. He'll love it even more when he can grasp the coordination to spin himself around! This product spins smoothly with no bells and whistles. I read reviews of other, fancier designs, that said they are tough to spin. Just wish this holds a little more weight, but maybe it's not meant to...great for the price!

    this toy seems to go over well as a radio. in fact my kids push the buttons and dance around the sit and spin. so they do more spinning around the toy than the toy does spinning

          I expected the spin around to be similar to the one I had growing up - unfortunately - it wasn't as easy to spin around in and my twin girls didn't really enjoy it much. I do a toy exchange with friends and thier kids weren't able to spin in it well. My girls were 2.5 when we bought it and now they are three and they still have no interest in it. I really think if the spin was smoother - they would enjoy it alot more. Taking this into account, I felt like it was overpriced as well. For the amount of money I spent on 2 spin arounds - I could have purchased a couple of other things my girls would have been able to enjoy more . . .

          Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

              My 28 month old granddaughter really enjoys playing on this! It spins on carpet and our tiled floors. It is very sturdy and well made.

              The best part of this toy is that though it spins fast enough, it doesn't spin so fast that a child could fall off. This is a great way for a child to develop upper body strength!
