My son loved this when he opened it as a gift from his sister! He enjoys playing with it on his own or sharing it with his 2 yr. old brother. Both boys can play with this toy at the same time, except for the pieces that require the piece that keeps that AA battery in to operate it. They've learned to use their imaginations, while playing together, but it'd be nice if one could play with the screwdriver (battery operated) while the other was able to use the ban saw (battery operated)

Comments about 37-Piece Tool Set:

We bought this set for our son's third birthday, but when we were wrapping it, we realized that the battery-operated drill was broken. We contacted Back to Basic Toys and they sent out a new set of tools, and we are able to keep the old set. [...] At our son's party, our younger son broke the battery-operated jigsaw, so there is only one left working (until we receive the new set). I don't think the battery-operated tools are very good quality at all, but the regular tool set is great. All three of our kids played with them for quite awhile after the party (ages 6, 3 and 1) as well as our 10 year old niece. I think this set was a great deal just for those pieces, even though the other ones broke.
