My son loved this toy, got up early the day after his bday to play with it. It is great. I kept asking family members to get it for him for 2 years and they kept giving us junk, loud, plastic toys instead. One thing that was a bummer is that two of the wood pieces broke in different failure modes in the first 2 weeks. Nevertheless, I'm glad I got it for him. He loves it and the imaginative play is off the charts.

Not only has my 4 year old son created some of the most imaginative things possible with this playset, but my 9 year old has used it for her 4th grade science project about motion, force and simple machines.
