The product came assembled and ready to go! But after about 20 minutes the novelty wore off. There are no skills required and it gets boring.

Comments about Drop in the Bucket:

I got this for my son's sixth birthday. After opening all of his presents, this toy was the first one he wanted to play with. I went first, to "show him how to play", but the ball went so fast, you heard a "CLANG" before you even knew it had made the loop. Even trying to not pull the plunger back so far could not adjust the speed, and so the marbles would all land in the same bucket. My son quickly lost interest and hasn't played it since (it's been a week). Maybe because he's six, maybe because he had many other toys to check out, but I think not being able to control the force of the plunger did it in.

Comments about Drop in the Bucket:

This toy is wonderful. With all of the electronic toys out there, this is a nice, simple "back to basics" toy for children. Simple, fun for all. The kids all loved it. We have 22 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild and this is one of the best gifts.

Comments about Drop in the Bucket:

I have 7 year old girl twins, so this did not receive rough play, but the spring on the launcher broke within 2 weeks of receipt. Very disappointing, as I would have viewed this type of toy as being virtually indestructible if it had been well constructed.

The girls liked it until it broke though...
