      Our 3 year old son got this for Christmas and it has been a huge hit. He and his 5 year old sister have played with it continuously since it came out of the box. They pretend to build things and they scoop and move their toys. The sound is not too loud and the moving mechanisms are easy to handle.
      My only con is that I could not tell from the catalog description if kids can make it move forward with the buttons or if they had to scoot with their feet. Forward motion is controlled by the feet. The battery is only for moving the scooping are up and down. The kids love it.
