Bought this for my 4-yr-old and it was the "hit" of his birthday, 6 weeks ago. We keep it in his room and I've encouraged him to use it when he gets angry with his younger brother. This has worked well several times (he cools off and comes back out to play, having vented his frustration), as well as he just enjoys using it. His older and younger sibling also play with it. The height can be adjusted, but should be done by an adult since the bolt loosens and the whole thing slams down to the lowest height which can pinch little unsuspecting fingers. In addition, I had to tell my children to punch it and not to pull it back and let it bounce back up where it can hit someone (my son did this and got hit in the forehead with the metal part as the bag was adjusted too high for him), causing quite a lump. I don't blame the product in any way--just make sure kids are using it properly!

I got this for my high energy 4 year old, however everyone including Dad & Mom play with it. Lots of fun. Thanks for offering at a great price.

The punching bag seems to be durable, and my son likes to punch it, being kinda shy, it gives him a chance to let out some frustration.

The whole family enjoys it really. Rarely does someone walk by the bag without stopping to play with it for awhile.

Assembly instructions were slightly unclear illustrations on the side of the box, no guidance re. inflation of the bag (which I over-inflated, broke stitching, still usable). Advises filling base with water or sand for stability...water doesn't work, unit rocks & shifts, even with mild 4 yr. old punches! Better "back-to-basics" might be bag my son had, with board to stand on for that stabilty! However, this works for the limited interest/enthusiasm of our pre-school boxer, and will be better with properly weighted base.

This is perfect for my boys. They are 5 and 3 and the 5 yr old is small for his age so I was worried any punching bag would be too high for him. It is perfect for them! and adjustable, they love how it is a real punching bag and not some cheap inflatable toy. Nice item, nice quality.

I bought this for my son for Christmas last year and he really loves this toy.I had looked everywhere for a punching bag for him and finally looked online and found this one.I have had this for almost a year and with a rough as my son is that is saying something.My other kids like to play with this too,so I would say its perfect for any child from 4-10 years of age.

This is a new purchase. So far, it is of great interest when my grandson "feels like hitting something". He and his siblings are not allowed to hit each other.

When my son has pent up energy or frustration, he can't take it out on his sister, but he CAN take it out on his punching ball. He uses it as an outlet for for frustration, skill refinement, and fun.
