I was hesitant to buy this Croquet Set, as some other reviews seemed a bit negative. However, after more research, I bought this set for by niece and nephew. They loved it and always thank me for this croquet set.

We bought this for an activity at out 3 year olds' birthday party. We were to have the kids play with it in the yard. We thought the smaller size mallets would be easier for the kids to wield. Now, we have a nice lawn, but it is not a golf course, it turned out that the wickets and balls were just not big enough to roll in the lawn.
But this is a fun toy for indoors on a rainy day.

I think for most families, this would be great. We live on a farm. My kids are active...VERY active. Pieces fell apart within first week. Balls chipped first day. Not meant to be left outside for any amount of time...just falls apart. POOR constuction
