We purchased this for our 11 year-old grandson but our 8 year-old granddaughter asked for equal time to use it. The kids watch tv while balancing on it--a great little workout for all of those indoor times. It's challenging and fun.

My soon to be 7 year old daughter was begging me to buy her the balance board for her birthday. I had previously seen it in the catalog and dismissed it as something that would not be of interest, short or long term, to my children in this era of video games and the like. Well I was wrong! It is such an absolute hit that it requires a time share program so there is no fighting over who's turn it is to balance. My middle daugher, who is five, has already asked for one for her birthday as well!

Difficult trainer, most valuable for skiing, surfing,sports where leg balance is key. Difficulty will be according to age and experience of user. It is being used here by a 7 year old boy with excellent coordination. To begin, he is using a rail, or a wall alongside him to help learn. It can be used for all ages as a trainer.

I bought this for my kids for Christmas. It is now June and they still use it almost every day. When we have company, they bring it out and get a kick out of the adults trying it! It is so much fun! I have an 8, 6 and 4 year old and they all are getting quite good at it. When they master the motion, they work on staying in one place, then they start thinking of new tricks constantly. It is great fun (and don't tell them, but great for the core muscles and balance)!

My 7-year old loves this balance board. She literally spends hours on it -she watches TV and takes phone calls while on her balance board. It is great for coordination and a lot of fun. The best part is I can use it too -its a great core workout. We highly recommend this toy.

I purchased this for my 3 grandsons in the same family about 10 years ago and they still use it. It gets pulled out every time other kids come over and now the 3-6 year old cousins are trying it out. Best Christmas gift I ever got for them.

We keep ours in the living room and whenever someone comes in they take a turn on it. Our 10 year old will use it while watching a TV show. Great for all ages.

This is great as a balance board, but also just a solid cool design. My kids have used the two pieces for many other creative uses, The board alone has been a flat surface for block building, the floor of a house, a ship's plank and more.
