We also have the trumpet. Our grandson likes us to all have an instrument and march around, make music together, etc. Sure wish you had a toy snare drum.

I purchased this instrument for my three year old son who had been asking for a saxophone but did not want one that looked "babyish." He loves this saxophone. The only drawback is that the surface started to scratch shortly after he started using it. I would purchase it again.

My grandson plays with it when he is here. He enjoys using it,But he really wanted a trumpet, which I ordered. I kept the sax because he liked it but I will order a trumpet from you for his birthday.

my son really likes musical insturments. i'm trying to build his colection but not trying to spend too much. real insturments can be very expensive. he is only 3 now. if he is stil showing interest in the future i will buy him real ones!

In searching for things that my daughter may take an interest in later on in life, we think its better spending [$]rahter than [$]on a real sax. the sound is good, nice and colorful but it is a thin cheapish kind of plastic... but again, its only $15 and i guess a good toy to see if your child has any kind of interest in wanting to play a sax.
