I had been looking for garden tools for a soon-to-be four-year-old boy and didn't like what I was seeing. The toys were flimsy and babyish. I googled gardening tools for kids and came upon Back to Basics and loved what I saw. The thank you was perfect. What Michael liked best were that the tools were "real." I was so glad I hadn't settle for the baby tools I found in stores.

Got this with the John Deere Wheelbarrow for my son's 5th birthday. He loves digging in the dirt and sand with the tools that are 'just like dad's'

They were broke in a week. The wooden handles are not made with hard wood.

Outdoors is a major part of our life and with these toys, we get out yard chores/ exercise done too and we all have fun.

Excellent quality. I also purchased the wheelbarrow and both are topnotch quality. My 2&1/2 yr old loves to follow Dad around the yard with his tools and work with him. He loves digging with the big shovel and swinging it over his shoulder to go to another area in the yard.
